Our tax dollars should fund the programs our families need most.
That’s why we joined Invest in San Diego Families on May 12 to ask the San Diego County Board of Supervisors to use its $5.4-billion budget to prioritize projects that matter to our families:
- Bail reform to prevent jail overcrowding and undue burden on County employees and taxpayers
- Rehabilitative justice programs to reduce the rate of incarceration and increase access to jobs for people with criminal records
- Expanded mental health services to support all members of our communities
- Resources to prevent homelessness and provide dignity to the homeless population
We will only see change in our community when we stand up and speak out. Thank you for joining us to make our voices heard.
