Two women with Davis connections participated in a late June trip to the California/Mexico border, which sponsored by a faith-based group, in order to participate in a vigil, a worship service and a study session relating to current immigration issues, as well as take part in actions protesting immigration policies involving detention of new arrivals and, in some cases, the separation of parents from their children.
