Organizers build relationships, identify and develop new leaders within congregations, and support them in taking collective action for justice. The ideal candidate is passionate about community, grounded in a sense of moral purpose, experienced in organizing, and able to work across diverse racial, ethnic, and faith backgrounds.

     This role centers on developing others, supporting local campaigns, and contributing to a team committed to building a more just and equitable San Diego.      Additional Details:

  • English and Spanish fluency required
  • Full-time exempt $70.30k – $72k / year

Position Image

    SDOP is seeking a part-time Content and Social Media Specialist to help strengthen our faith-rooted, grassroots communications work across San Diego. The Content and Social Media Specialist will support digital storytelling, manage social media and email communications both internal and external and support media outreach. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about accessible communication that reaches both English and Spanish-speaking community members.

     This role centers on collaborating with staff and leaders, producing clear and compelling content, and contributing to a team committed to building a more just and equitable San Diego. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a diverse and growing organization creating positive, systemic change in San Diego and California.

     Additional Details:

  • 15–20 hours/week at $30–$35/hour
  • San Diego based
  • Minimum 2+ years in a similar role within a non-profit setting, social justice, multi-faith organizations or related field

     This role centers on developing others, supporting local campaigns, and contributing to a team committed to building a more just and equitable San Diego.
